Introduction
TimeHopper ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome Extension designed to help you manage time zones and schedule
meetings. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
Data We Collect
TimeHopper accesses the minimum amount of data necessary to function:
- Calendar Data: We access your Google Calendar events strictly to display them to you in
the extension popup and to provide meeting notifications. This data is fetched directly from Google's
APIs and is stored locally in your browser to improve performance. We do not transmit this data to any
external servers or third parties.
- User Preferences: using Chrome Storage, we save your settings (such as selected time
zones, working hours, and notification preferences).
- Analytics: We use aggregated, anonymous analytics (via Amplitude) to understand feature
usage and improve the product. This data does not contain personally identifiable information (PII) or
calendar details.
How We Use Your Data
- To display your upcoming schedule and time blocks.
- To provide desktop notifications for upcoming meetings.
- To calculate time zone overlaps for team coordination.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties.
